Shipping and Return Policy

 

ABOUT THE PRODUCTS

Everything in my shop is hand made and very carefully packaged from my studio here in the Netherlands.
The webshop is run by me, Lidewij de Vries. I take great care of creating, handling and shipping everything myself. Please understand that I am a working artist and need time to create as well. For this reason, I ship orders within 7-9 business days.

I ship original artwork insured via a Dutch company called Parcel Parcel. They work with big shipping services like DPD, FEDEX, DHL etc.
They handle everything from the moment the packaged artwork leaves my studio.
Please know that everything beyond that is out of my control.
If there are any problems, please contact me and I will do my best to make it right. 


COPYRIGHT


When you buy a product on my website you buy the item, not the copyright. When you buy an original piece of art or print you can’t reproduce it. It is against the law to copy it, reproduce it or use it for commercial purposes. Copyright on everything is © Lidewij de Vries. Any infringement on this will be dealt with accordingly.


SHIPPING

I can ship worldwide but if your country is not listed please contact me and I will see what I can do.
Orders can take a while to arrive, shipping times depend on the country you live in. It can take a while due to customs procedures at the port of arrival in your country.
Generally, the following shipping times are normal once your order has been processed:

  • Netherlands: 1-3 days

  • Europe: 4-8 days

  • The United States and Canada: 8-21 days (depending on the size and weight of the parcel)

  • Rest of the world: 8-21 days

Note these are estimates, in busy periods such as during the holiday seasons, these shipping times may vary. Keep this in mind when ordering for a special occasion.

SHIPPING COSTS

All shipping costs will be determined at checkout and charged along with your purchase. When your order is shipped you will receive an automated email with your tracking number.
Payment goes through Paypal or Stripe.

Please note that any product purchased through the webshop will be delivered through DAP (Delivered At Place). This means that any applicable import fees and/or taxes must be paid by you, the recipient, and may not be fully presented on the receipt. The delivery service must be paid these costs at delivery, otherwise the package will be witheld. These costs may vary between countries.

Generally speaking, any applicable VAT in EU coutries will be visible on the receipt during checkout. This amount will be due at delivery.

 

WHAT IF MY ORDER IS DAMAGED?


If the package is received damaged in the mail, please email within 24 hours of delivery. photograph the package as it was received as well as the item itself. Email the photos and order number to info@lidewijart.com along with a description of what is damaged. Your material will be reviewed and if it is determined that there was indeed a problem during shipping, your item will be replaced or refunded with no questions asked.
I will ship your replacement artwork and / or issue a refund only after receiving your return + communication via E-mail.

RETURN POLICY

If you are not satisfied with the item you ordered, we will accept returns of undamaged and unused items returned in as-issued conditions for a refund to your original payment method. Please note we charge a 20% restocking fee.
We accept print returns and exchanges within 7 days of receipt. If you do not reach out to us within 7 days, we are unable to make a return.

The original purchase must be verified for return: E-mail info@lidewijart.com with your order number, reason for return, and shipping confirmation.

Gift Cards are non refundable
